My comfortable modern life is predicated on environmental destruction, human and animal exploitation, and geopolitical militarism.   My privilege insulates me from the suffering, poverty, pollution, extinction, hunger, injustice, and exclusion on the convenience store shelves.  These “inconveniences” are way up stream from me.  But the blood and bodies are floating down.  I taste them in the coca-cola and I smell them in my car’s exhaust.  What can be done about convenience?
